Rory Raspberry is the best friend for your toddler to spread generously on toast, scones, biscuits, pancakes and more! This cheeky raspberry jam recipe is the best as it can be adjusted to any sweetness you like, and lasts up to one week in the fridge!
THE INGREDIENTS ARE
- 2 cups of frozen raspberries
- 1 tbsp of honey (or as much or little as you would prefer)
- ½ tsp of vanilla
- 1 ½ tbsp of chia
WHAT TO DO:
STEP 1: Pour your cups of raspberries into a pot on the stove on a low heat. Slowly mash them as the heat rises, making sure to get them as soft as possible. Frozen raspberries will naturally be easier to use as the ice will melt, but if you’re using fresh raspberries we suggest adding a cup of water.
STEP: When they’ve gotten thick and saucy add the honey and vanilla and continue to stir until they are really mixed in together.
STEP 3: Now add the chia seeds and stir a little more.
STEP 4: Let the jam cool down a little and pour the mixture into waiting jars – make sure they’re airtight. Pop in the fridge and add to all your favourite snacks! Your kids will love this fruity colourful treat!
